  • Factory ECU software stays unchanged. The tuning module corrects the sensor data – the ECU keeps its factory settings.
  • Safety systems keep working. The tuning module does not switch off or interfere with the engine protection systems.

I bought the GAN module a few months ago and I'm really happy with it. I use it on a hybrid car, the Cery Tiggo 8 Pro Max, to get a bit more pep on the highway when the battery is low. With this module in Dynamic mode, even at higher speeds, the combustion engine can always keep a reserve charge in the battery, giving me a boost for overtaking. It's exactly what this car needed.

Bought the GAN GA for my 2002 Porsche 996.2. It gives a noticeable improvement in throttle response, which I really like. I also feel like there is some more power in the mid range as well, but I doubt top end power has increased much. All in all, for the cost of the unit and the ability to swap tune files if I put it in another car, I recommend the product. The only negative experience I have noticed, is that the car needs a few more turns on the starter before firing up, something I read another Porsche owner also commented on. If this can be fixed in a software update I will rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

I purchased the GAN tuning device for my Alfa Romeo Giulietta Veloce 1.75T. The device was easy to install and set up, took around 1 hour with no issues other than finding a suitable place to mount the box under the bonnet. GAN claim that in sport mode it adds an extra 65hp, to the existing 241hp, I was sceptical that this was achievable, but being a turbo bosted engine I was sure there would be some noticeable improvement in performance. WOW WOW WOW...the little Alfa was reasonably quick from the factory, but I was shocked at the performance gains from this inexpensive tuning box. The engine builds boos quicker from low revs and will spin the wheels withh roll on acceleration in 1st and 2nd gear. The car is now a super hot hatch and an absolute blast to drive. I have done plenty of performance modifications on my cars over the years, but this is by far the best performance upgrade I have done for this amount of money. Absolutely super impressed with the results.

I recently purchased a GAN GA+ module, for a Skoda Fabia 1.4 101 hp. It DOES increase the power and the response, mostly on the mid revs, that this 16v engine was a bit flimsy. As a result there is a better drivability in an urban environment, when immediate acceleration is needed. It also increases somewhat the engine noise on acceleration, naturally resulting by the extra power. I did NOT see any extra power on the high end of the rev spectrum. As a result I did NOT see any increase in the final speed of the approx 190+ km/h in natural state. Power mode increases slightly the consumption, indicating that the changes in performance are exact and the engineering is correct. Eco mode is exactly the meaning. Less consumption and somewhat less power on any revs.

We don’t use standard remap files: the tuning module’s program is written for the specific engine version. That is why cars that look the same but have different engines get different gains – and each engine’s page shows its gain before you order: power and torque before and after installing GAN.

Turbo or naturally aspirated engine

For turbocharged engines, petrol and diesel, there are the GAN GT and GAN GTL: up to 30% and up to 25% more power. For naturally aspirated engines, there is the GAN GA+: up to 12% more power and up to 15% lower fuel consumption in ECO mode. Installation videos are available on our website to guide you through the process. That said, for some turbocharged vehicles, installation might take a bit longer due to trickier sensor access.

Will the load on my car increase after chip tuning?

A more powerful engine naturally puts extra strain on components like the transmission and chassis. However, engine and transmission designs typically include a 2x to 4x safety margin beyond their calculated limits. Plus, GAN’s chip tuning only boosts power when it’s needed – like during sharp acceleration or overtaking – so there’s no risk of sustained overload. Often, the power increase happens in the mid-range, without pushing beyond the engine’s maximum output. Modern engines come with safety systems that monitor critical conditions and dial back power to prevent damage. GAN modules don’t interfere with these safeguards, so your engine stays protected. When used correctly, GAN modules won’t shorten your engine’s lifespan and can even enhance fuel efficiency under the right conditions.

Is there a guarantee my engine won’t fail after remapping?

Absolutely. We offer an additional engine warranty of up to 2 years, with coverage up to EUR 5,000 (terms and amounts vary by device type). To activate it, simply submit an application on our website after purchasing your GAN module. Once approved, you’ll receive a certificate confirming your cover.
