What makes the Alfa Romeo Giulia special
Alfa Romeo Giulia remap: one diesel family, several outputs
Every Giulia diesel is a 2.2 Multijet of 2,143 cc, built by Fiat at Pratola Serra. Over the years the output has been 136, 150, 160, 180, 190 or 210 hp. In Britain it is sold simply as the Giulia, in grades that have included Super, Veloce and Quadrifoglio. This page covers the 150 and 180 hp diesels with the GAN GT, so a plug-in remap for your Giulia depends on its year and version. The 160, 190 and 210 hp diesels are not listed separately for the Giulia: the same engine appears under the Alfa Romeo Stelvio 2.2 D.

What does the GAN box leave untouched on a Giulia 2.2 diesel?
The GAN module sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals. The factory software, checksums and flash counter stay as they are, and the engine's factory protections remain active. Because the ECU software is never changed and the module can be removed at any time, your manufacturer's warranty is preserved.
Should I declare the GAN box to my insurer?
