Each engine has its own tuning box: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per box and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone is not enough: in this generation, the same engine designation came in different power outputs, each with its own calibration. Check the power output in your registration document and find the matching row.

Alfa Romeo Giulietta remap: what changes
The GAN box plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals, while a flash remap rewrites the ECU itself. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the box can be removed at any time.

What makes the Alfa Romeo Giulietta special
Alfa Romeo Giulietta remap: Quadrifoglio Verde or 1.4 MultiAir
The Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde (240 hp) and the 1.4 MultiAir (170 hp) sit far apart in factory output, yet each has its own set of GAN GT figures. Sold new in Britain from 2010 until production ended in 2020, the performance version is listed there as the Cloverleaf or QV. It uses the 1.75 TBi petrol engine, which our catalogue lists as the 1.8 TBi: 235 hp from 2010 and 240 hp from 2014. The QV engine came in two output levels, so the catalogue has a row for each. Those rows read 235 hp and 241 hp.
The 150 hp MultiAir is rated at 230 Nm in the catalogue, the 170 hp version at 250 Nm. The base 1.4 TB without MultiAir makes 120 hp and 206 Nm, and it stayed in the range until production ended in December 2020. UK tuners advertise Stage 1 remaps for the 1.4 MultiAir 170 hp, but those are provider claims; the GAN GT figures on this page come from the catalogue row for your exact engine. So check your engine and its output first: that decides which figures apply to your car.
Giulietta diesels and the year of your car
The 1.6 JTDM gave 105 hp from 2010 and 120 hp from 2015. The 2.0 JTDM came with 140, 150, 170 and 175 hp, all of them calibrations of the same engine. Each calibration belongs to certain years, so start with when your car was built. In Germany, petrol made up about three quarters of Giulietta registrations and diesel about a quarter.
The 105 hp petrol 1.4 left the range with the 2016 facelift. From the 2019 model year only three engines remained: the 1.4 TB 120, the 1.6 JTDM 120 and the 2.0 JTDM 170. On a 1.4 MultiAir, a warning light, rough running or the engine pulling on three cylinders points to the MultiAir actuator unit, so have that looked at before any box goes on.
Alfa Romeo Giulietta remap: common questions
What does the GAN GT add to a Giulietta QV and a 1.4 MultiAir 170?
The 235 hp QV rises to 299 hp and 433 Nm with the GAN GT, and the 170 hp MultiAir to 218 hp and 325 Nm. Both engines are turbocharged, which puts them in the GAN GT range of up to 30% more power. Treat these as the stated gains for each engine type, not a dyno reading of your own car.
My Giulietta QV: 235 hp or 240 hp, and which GAN GT figures are mine?
Go by the build date: the engine made 235 hp until 2014 and 240 hp after that.
Giulietta 2.0 JTDM output: is it 140, 150, 170 or 175 hp?
Match the output to the year of the car, because one diesel was sold with four outputs. The catalogue gives GAN GT figures for each of the four.
Giulietta remap or GAN tuning box: what is the difference?
A flash remap rewrites the factory software, while a tuning box sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals. The GAN module comes off in about a minute with no electronic or mechanical traces left. The factory ECU software is never changed, so your manufacturer's warranty is preserved, and you can remove the module whenever you like.
Do I need to tell my insurer about a GAN tuning box?
Tell them. A tuning box raises the output, and in Britain that is a declarable modification like any other performance change. Policies differ, so a quick call to your insurer before fitting is the safe route; the figures they will ask for are the stock and GAN outputs listed here.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 remap?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
