Each engine has its own tuning box: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per box and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone is not enough: in this generation, the same engine designation came in different power outputs, each with its own calibration. Check the power output in your registration document and find the matching row.

Fiat Bravo/Brava remap: what changes
The GAN box plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals, while a flash remap rewrites the ECU itself. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the box can be removed at any time.

What makes the Fiat Bravo/Brava special
Fiat Bravo remap: two cars under one name
The year decides which Bravo or Brava you have, because the name covers two cars. Type 182 is the Bravo and Brava built from autumn 1995 to summer 2001. Type 198, the Bravo II, arrived in 2007 and was built until July 2014. Within the type 182, the three-door was the Bravo and the five-door was the Brava. The same split applied in Britain, and the second-generation car was sold there as the five-door Fiat Bravo, with no official Mk label. For a tuning box on the type 182, the 1.9 JTD of 105 hp takes the GAN GT.
The 154 hp 2.0 petrol takes the GAN GA+. On the Bravo II the 1.4 T-Jet (120 and 150 hp) and the 140 hp MultiAir are matched to the GAN GT. British listings show the T-Jet at 120 and 150 hp and the 140 hp MultiAir, so check your own engine against the table. UK road tests find the 1.4 T-Jet less flexible than the diesels, which have more torque. The 1.6 Multijet diesels, at 105 and 120 hp, also take the GAN GT.
Fiat Bravo/Brava remap: common questions
Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-Jet 150 remap: what does the GAN GT add?
The catalogue takes the 1.4 T-Jet of 150 hp to 193 hp with the GAN GT, a gain of 43 hp. On a turbo petrol such as the T-Jet, the GAN GT is rated at up to 30% more power. Treat these as catalogue gains for this engine type, not a dyno reading of your own car.
What does the GAN GT give the first common-rail Bravo, the 1.9 JTD of 105 hp?
The JTD came with the autumn 1998 facelift and was built at 105 hp until October 2000. The GAN GT adds 31 hp to it.
Does a GAN tuning box affect my car insurance?
Tell them. A tuning box raises the output, and in Britain that is a declarable modification like any other performance change. Policies differ, so a quick call to your insurer before fitting is the safe route; the figures they will ask for are the stock and GAN outputs listed here.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 remap?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
