Each engine has its own tuning box: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per box and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone is not enough: in this generation, the same engine designation came in different power outputs, each with its own calibration. Check the power output in your registration document and find the matching row.

Ford Fiesta V/VI remap: what changes
The GAN box plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals, while a flash remap rewrites the ECU itself. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the box can be removed at any time.

What makes the Ford Fiesta V/VI special
Ford Fiesta Mk6 remap from 2001: Mk5 or Mk6?
Mk5 or Mk6, a Fiesta built from 2001 to 2008 is one and the same car, and what picks a tuning box for it is the engine, not the number. Ford's own tables call it the Mk5, with the Mk5.5 facelift arriving in October 2005; in Britain it is usually the Mk6, and its 2008 successor the Mk7. UK trim names such as Finesse, LX, Zetec, Zetec S, Ghia and ST describe equipment, not the engine underneath. A search for a Fiesta Mk6 remap leads to this same car, which was launched as a five-door in November 2001 and as a three-door in June 2002.
Fiesta engines of 2002–2008 and the GAN box for each
The petrol range starts with the 1.25 Duratec at 70 hp, then the 1.3 at 60 and 70 hp, the 1.4 at 80 hp and the 1.6 at 103 hp, with the Fiesta ST above them: a 2.0 Duratec HE of 150 hp from March 2005. Three of these take the GAN GA+: the 1.3 with 60 hp, the 1.4 with 80 hp and the ST with 150 hp. In the catalogue the 1.25 Duratec appears as the 1.25i with 75 hp, and the GAN GA+ takes it to 84 hp.
The diesels came as the 1.4 TDCi with 68 hp from March 2002 and the 1.6 TDCi with 90 hp from March 2005. UK buying guides single out the injector seals and fuel pipes of the 1.4 TDCi, so have a garage look at them before you fit a box. Of the two diesels, the 1.4 TDCi is the one covered by the GAN GT.
Ford Fiesta V/VI remap: common questions
Fiesta 1.4 TDCi remap: what does the GAN GT give the 68 hp car?
The catalogue takes the 1.4 TDCi from 68 hp to 88 hp with the GAN GT. Read these as the stated figures for the engine type, not as a dyno reading of your own car.
Does the Fiesta ST with the 2.0 Duratec and 150 hp take a tuning box?
It does, with the GAN GA+, rated at up to 12% more power.
Do I need to tell my insurer about a GAN tuning box?
Yes, declare it. British insurers treat extra power as a modification, so the safe course is to tell them before you fit the box. How they treat it varies from one insurer to another, so ask before you fit the box; the standard and tuned figures you will be asked for are in the table on this page.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 remap?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
