Each engine has its own tuning box: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per box and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone is not enough: in this generation, the same engine designation came in different power outputs, each with its own calibration. Check the power output in your registration document and find the matching row.

Honda Civic X remap: what changes
The GAN box plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals, while a flash remap rewrites the ECU itself. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the box can be removed at any time.

1.5T 182 hp → 234 hp. The other engines gain at least +15 hp; check the table for each one.
- +87 Nmfor diesels
Diesels gain mostly torque: +87 to +87 Nm, which helps with overtaking and towing.

What makes the Honda Civic X special
Honda Civic X remap: the 1.5 VTEC Turbo and its oil
On the Civic X hatchback (FK7) the 1.5 VTEC Turbo makes 182 hp, with 240 Nm from the manual gearbox and 220 Nm from the CVT. Fitted with the GAN GT, this engine gains 52 hp and 72 Nm. In Britain this is the Civic Mk10, sold in trims including SE, Sport, SR, EX and Prestige, and the engine badge, 1.5 VTEC Turbo or 1.6 i-DTEC, decides the box.
Oil comes first: on short trips, petrol can dilute the engine oil of the 1.5 VTEC Turbo. Honda describes such cases as rare, especially outside severe cold. A tuning box does not cure oil dilution, so check the oil level and the service history before adding power.
The diesel, and what is not in the catalogue
The 1.6 i-DTEC (120 hp, 300 Nm), built in 2018 and 2019 for the hatchback and the saloon, also takes the GAN GT and gains 35 hp and 87 Nm. On the 1.6 i-DTEC, particulate-filter trouble is linked to repeated short trips, which is worth knowing before you add power. The 1.0 VTEC Turbo (126 or 129 hp) and the 320 hp Type R belong to the Civic X as well.
Neither the 1.0 VTEC Turbo nor the Type R engine has a row in the catalogue yet. In Europe the Civic X is the FK7 hatchback and the FC saloon.
Honda Civic X remap: common questions
Civic 1.5 VTEC Turbo remap: what does the box actually change?
On the 1.5 turbo the GAN box adjusts the engine's sensor signals and leaves the factory software untouched, and the engine's own protections stay active.
How much more power does the 182 hp Civic X 1.5 VTEC Turbo get?
From a standard 182 hp and 240 Nm, the GAN GT takes it to 234 hp and 312 Nm in the catalogue. This is a turbo petrol, the type of engine for which the GAN GT is rated at up to 30% more power; read the figures as stated for the engine type, not as a dyno reading of your own car.
Honda Civic: ECU remap or tuning box?
An ECU remap rewrites the factory software in the engine control unit (ECU), while the GAN tuning box sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals instead. The ECU software is never changed and the box can come off at any time, so your manufacturer's warranty is preserved.
Should I declare the GAN box to my insurer?
Yes, declare it. British insurers treat extra power as a modification, so the safe course is to tell them before you fit the box. How they treat it varies from one insurer to another, so ask before you fit the box; the standard and tuned figures you will be asked for are in the table on this page.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 remap?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
