Jetour DASHING remap: what changes

What makes the Jetour DASHING special
Jetour Dashing remap: one crossover, two names
The Dashing has not been sold through official British channels, so any car on UK roads is a private import. Jetour has sold the Dashing in Poland since November 2025, while in Italy and Spain the same crossover is called the Sportequipe 6 GT. A tuning box suits both names, because both cars share the same 1.5 turbo engine.
That engine is rated at 156 hp and 230 Nm, and as a turbo it takes the GAN GT. The 1.6 turbo with 197 hp sold in Poland and the 149 hp 1.5 turbo with LPG that Italy lists have no row in the catalogue.

Dashing 1.5T remap: what does the GAN GT add?
The catalogue rates the 1.5T at 147 hp; with the GAN GT it reaches 190 hp and 271 Nm, though the Polish car is rated at 156 hp. The gearbox programming is left alone. These are stated gains for the engine type, not a dyno reading of your car.
Does the Sportequipe 6 GT take the same GAN box as the Dashing?
It is the same car: DR Automobiles derives the Sportequipe 6 GT from the Jetour Dashing, with the identical 1.5 turbo of 156 hp and 230 Nm. So the GAN GT fits a Sportequipe 6 GT as well.
Will my insurer need to know about the tuning box?
Yes, declare it. British insurers treat extra power as a modification, so the safe course is to tell them before you fit the box. How they treat it varies from one insurer to another, so ask before you fit the box; the standard and tuned figures you will be asked for are in the table on this page.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 remap?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
