Each engine has its own tuning box: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per box and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone is not enough: in this generation, the same engine designation came in different power outputs, each with its own calibration. Check the power output in your registration document and find the matching row.

Lexus NX remap: what changes
The GAN box plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals, while a flash remap rewrites the ECU itself. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the box can be removed at any time.

What makes the Lexus NX special
Lexus NX remap: three drivelines in one model
Around 170,000 first-generation NX were sold in Europe between 2014 and 2021. Three drivelines are involved: the 2.0 turbo, the first generation's 2.5 hybrid and the second generation's 2.5 hybrid. The turbo takes the GAN GT, whereas for the hybrids the GAN GA+ figures describe the petrol engine only. In Britain the first generation was sold as the NX 300h and, with the turbo, as the NX 200t from 2015 to 2017, while the current range is the NX 350h and NX 450h+. Only the 2.0 turbo is a conventional turbo petrol engine, so it is the one the GAN GT is meant for.
Renamed NX 300 in 2017, the NX 200t has the 2.0 turbo 8AR-FTS at 238 hp and 350 Nm, a six-speed automatic and optional all-wheel drive. The NX 300h pairs a 2.5 petrol engine (155 hp, 210 Nm) with an electric motor to reach 197 hp of system output. Since November 2021 the second generation has offered the NX 350h, whose petrol part makes 190 hp and 239 Nm, within 244 hp of system output. The NX 450h+ is a plug-in hybrid: 185 hp and 227 Nm from the petrol part, 309 hp as a system. The NX 450h+'s 2.5 plug-in hybrid is not in the catalogue.
Reading the catalogue figures
The NX 200t and the NX 300 have separate catalogue rows, both at 238 hp and 350 Nm. 155 hp is the petrol engine of the NX 300h and 190 hp that of the NX 350h. The 300h's 196 hp is the system output, shown next to the petrol engine's torque.
The NX 200 at 150 and 151 hp is a version for other markets. On the hybrids the GAN GA+ figures apply to the petrol engine alone, and the effect on the system output is not stated. The NX 350h and NX 450h+ are the other names in use in Britain, while NX 300 was a badge for other markets.
Lexus NX remap: common questions
NX 200t or NX 300: does it matter for the tuning box?
Both have the same 2.0 turbo, at 238 hp and 350 Nm, and the NX 300 is the NX 200t as updated for 2017. The catalogue's GAN GT figures differ between them, though, so take the row for your exact model.
What does the NX 2.0 turbo gain, and how does a tuning box differ from an ECU remap?
On the GAN GT the NX 200t reaches 303 hp and 445 Nm. In the NX 300 the same engine gets 278 hp and 410 Nm. Up to 30% more power is the GAN GT's rating. Those are the stated gains for the engine type, not a dyno reading of your car. Unlike a flash remap, the GAN box sits between the engine sensors and the ECU, so the factory software stays untouched.
Which engine is the NX 300h's 155 hp?
It is the hybrid's petrol engine; with the electric motor the system output is 197 hp.
Does a GAN tuning box affect my car insurance?
Yes. In the UK a power increase counts as a modification, and insurers expect to be told about it before you drive with the box fitted. Each insurer handles it differently, so check with yours first and quote the before-and-after output from the table above.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 remap?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
