Each engine has its own tuning box: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per box and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone is not enough: in this generation, the same engine designation came in different power outputs, each with its own calibration. Check the power output in your registration document and find the matching row.

Maserati GranTurismo remap: what changes
More power and torque without rewriting the ECU or swapping any parts. The GAN box only adjusts the engine sensor signals. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the box can be removed at any time.

What makes the Maserati GranTurismo special
Maserati GranTurismo remap: what a naturally aspirated V8 can give
With a naturally aspirated V8, the real question for any GranTurismo is how much a tuning box or an ECU tune can add. Under the bonnet of every first-generation car sits one engine family, a naturally aspirated V8 shared with Ferrari. The versions are told apart by output alone, at 405, 440, 444, 450, 454 or 460 hp. Modena built the first generation (Tipo M145) from 2007 until November 2019.
British buyers simply call it the 2007–2019 GranTurismo, with the later cars sold mainly as the Sport or the MC. A hexagonal grille arrived with the facelift for the 2018 model year. The open-top GranCabrio, built from 2010 to 2019, shares these engines and so the same figures.
Which version is yours?
The 4.2 V8, with 405 hp and 460 Nm, powers the GranTurismo of 2007 to 2017. The later UK range no longer included the 4.2 and concentrated on the 4.7 V8. Built from 2008 to 2012, the GranTurismo S gets the 4.7 V8 from the Alfa Romeo 8C, rated at 440 hp and 490 Nm. From March 2012 the Sport replaced the S, with 460 hp and 520 Nm. Where the MC Stradale first offered 450 hp and 510 Nm, it later moved on to 460 hp and 520 Nm. That car was shown in 2011 and came back at Geneva in 2013 with a robotised six-speed gearbox.
The gearbox is all that separates the 460 hp, 520 Nm MC Stradale from the Sport; engine output is identical. Shifting is by a ZF automatic or by the robotised unit that the S and the MC Stradale use. Early 4.2 and 4.7 engines can develop a camshaft variator rattle on a cold start, so have that looked at before you fit any tuning box. Nettuno 3.0 V6 twin-turbo engines power the second-generation M189 from 2023, at 490 hp or 550 hp in the Trofeo. The Nettuno V6 has no row in the catalogue. Both generations have been sold officially in Britain, but the catalogue rows describe the first one only.
Maserati GranTurismo remap: common questions
What does the GranTurismo Sport gain from a tuning box?
Put a GAN GA+ on the 460 hp, 520 Nm Sport and the figures become 497 hp and 562 Nm. Treat that as the stated gain for the engine type rather than a dyno reading of your own car.
Maserati GranTurismo remap or tuning box: what does the V8 gain?
A flash remap rewrites the factory software. The GAN module leaves it alone and works on the signals that pass from the engine sensors to the ECU. It is a plug-in tuning box that uses the existing connectors, not a kit of engine parts. On naturally aspirated engines like this V8, the GAN GA+ is rated at up to 12% more power. Gearbox programming is not part of what the module does.
Does the GranCabrio get the same treatment as the GranTurismo?
Yes. The GranCabrio shares the GranTurismo's engines, so the output of your engine decides.
Is my MC Stradale the 450 hp or the 460 hp car?
The 450 hp, 510 Nm car is the early MC Stradale of 2011 and 2012, and the catalogue has a row for each version.
Will my insurer need to know about the tuning box?
Yes, declare it. British insurers treat extra power as a modification, so the safe course is to tell them before you fit the box. How they treat it varies from one insurer to another, so ask before you fit the box; the standard and tuned figures you will be asked for are in the table on this page.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 remap?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
