Each engine has its own tuning box: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per box and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone is not enough: in this generation, the same engine designation came in different power outputs, each with its own calibration. Check the power output in your registration document and find the matching row.

Mazda 3 III remap: what changes
The GAN box plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals, while a flash remap rewrites the ECU itself. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the box can be removed at any time.

What makes the Mazda 3 III special
Mazda 3 remap on the BM and BN
For the Mazda 3 Mk3 this is mostly a petrol question: German registrations of the BM and BN were 80–95% petrol between 2014 and 2018. Diesel's share of those registrations fell from 20% in 2014 to 5% in 2018. The hatchback arrived on 18 October 2013 and the saloon on 14 February 2014, with the BN facelift in February 2017; a hatchback from 2013 is therefore an early BM. Production for Europe stopped in March 2019. In Britain it is the Mazda3 Mk3 (BM/BN) in hatchback or saloon form, sold in trims such as SE-L, SE-L Nav and Sport Nav, and the SKYACTIV-G or SKYACTIV-D badge decides the box. The petrol engines that take a box are the 1.5-litre SKYACTIV-G 100 and the 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-G 120 and 165, and all three work with the GAN GA+.
UK reviews list the petrol range as naturally aspirated throughout: a 1.5-litre and two 2.0-litre engines. Direct injection and no turbocharger describe the SKYACTIV-G 100, with 100 hp and 150 Nm. The six-speed automatic is paired with the SKYACTIV-G 120 and with both diesels. The 2.2 SKYACTIV-D 150 has 150 hp, 380 Nm and two-stage turbocharging, was built from October 2013 to March 2019 and takes the GAN GT. On the 2.2 SKYACTIV-D, have the DPF's regeneration pattern and the injectors checked before you add power. The 1.5 SKYACTIV-D 105, built from January 2016, has no row in the catalogue yet.
Mazda 3 III remap: common questions
Mazda 3 2.2 SKYACTIV-D remap: how much does the BM 150 gain?
The catalogue lists the diesel at 150 hp and 380 Nm, and at 193 hp and 481 Nm with the GAN GT. At 43 hp more, that is the biggest gain of any engine in this generation. Read these as the stated figures for the engine type, not as a dyno reading of your own car.
What can a tuning box do for the Mazda 3 SKYACTIV-G 120 and 165?
Both are 2.0-litre engines with 210 Nm, and both take the GAN GA+. The catalogue gain is 14 hp and 25 Nm on the SKYACTIV-G 120, and 20 hp and 25 Nm on the SKYACTIV-G 165.
What about the smallest petrol, the SKYACTIV-G 100?
The 1.5-litre engine has 100 hp and 150 Nm, and its catalogue gain is 12 hp and 18 Nm. Being the smallest engine in the generation, it also has the smallest gain in absolute terms.
Should I declare the GAN box to my insurer?
Yes. In the UK a power increase counts as a modification, and insurers expect to be told about it before you drive with the box fitted. Each insurer handles it differently, so check with yours first and quote the before-and-after output from the table above.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 remap?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
