Each engine has its own tuning box: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per box and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone is not enough: in this generation, the same engine designation came in different power outputs, each with its own calibration. Check the power output in your registration document and find the matching row.

Mitsubishi Pajero IV remap: what changes
The GAN box plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals, while a flash remap rewrites the ECU itself. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the box can be removed at any time.

3.2 DI-D 190 hp → 246 hp. The other engines gain at least +21 hp; check the table for each one.
- +111 Nmfor diesels
Diesels gain mostly torque: +80 to +111 Nm, which helps with overtaking and towing.

What makes the Mitsubishi Pajero IV special
Mitsubishi Pajero (Shogun) remap: one diesel, several power ratings
Europe gets one diesel in the Pajero IV (V80 and V90), the 3.2 DI-D, though its rating moved with the years: 160 and 170 hp from 2007, 200 hp from 2009 and 190 hp from 2015. It is a 3,200 cc common-rail engine, sold in Germany from February 2007 until 2018. In Britain this same car is the Shogun, so a Shogun remap belongs on this page too. UK dealers sold it as the Mitsubishi Shogun, often written Shogun Mk4 or Shogun IV, in short and long wheelbases and in Equippe, Elegance, Warrior, Barbarian and SG4 trims. Which figures apply depends on the year of your car.
The 170 hp automatic of 2007–2009 goes to 218 hp with the GAN GT. The 200 hp version, built from January 2009 to August 2015, reaches 256 hp. The 190 hp version from 2015 reaches 246 hp. The 3.8 V6 petrol with 250 hp, offered from 2007 to about 2010, takes the GAN GA+, rated at up to 12% more power, and reaches 280 hp and 368 Nm. A box fixes neither EGR carbon build-up on higher-mileage cars nor timing-chain tensioner wear on the 3.2 DI-D.
Mitsubishi Pajero IV remap: common questions
Pajero 3.2 DI-D remap: is mine the 160, 170, 190 or 200 hp version?
The year tells them apart: from February 2007 to January 2009 the car made 160 hp with the manual and 170 hp with the automatic, from January 2009 to August 2015 it made 200 hp, and from September 2015 to 2018 it made 190 hp.
Pajero IV towing: how much torque does the GAN GT add to the 3.2 DI-D?
On the 200 hp version torque goes from 441 Nm to 552 Nm. Treat both as catalogue figures for the engine type; neither is a dyno measurement of your own car.
Does a tuning box interfere with DPF regeneration on the 3.2 DI-D?
A particulate filter has been standard on the 3.2 DI-D since 2007. The factory ECU software runs the regeneration, and the GAN box does not touch that software.
Do I need to tell my insurer about a GAN tuning box?
Yes. In the UK a power increase counts as a modification, and insurers expect to be told about it before you drive with the box fitted. Each insurer handles it differently, so check with yours first and quote the before-and-after output from the table above.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 remap?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
