Each engine has its own tuning box: GAN GT / GTL or GAN GA / GA+. Prices are per box and include the current discount.
Not sure which engine you have?
The badge alone is not enough: in this generation, the same engine designation came in different power outputs, each with its own calibration. Check the power output in your registration document and find the matching row.

Suzuki Jimny remap: what changes
The GAN box plugs in between the sensors and the engine control unit (ECU) and adjusts their signals, while a flash remap rewrites the ECU itself. Your manufacturer’s warranty is preserved: the ECU software is never changed, and the box can be removed at any time.

What makes the Suzuki Jimny special
Suzuki Jimny remap: 1.5 can mean two different engines
A Jimny tuning box starts from the badge, because 1.5 stands for two engines that have nothing in common. The 1.5 DDiS is a Renault K9K diesel, built by Santana in Spain as the JB53: 65 hp from April 2004, 86 hp from December 2005. The 1.5 petrol is the naturally aspirated K15B of the Jimny IV, rated at 102 hp and 130 Nm. European buyers could have it as a passenger car from October 2018 until 2020, and afterwards as a two-seat van.
Only the 86 hp diesel has an intercooler; the 65 hp version goes without. The two engines take different boxes: the GAN GT for the DDiS, the GAN GA+ for the K15B.
Three versions of the 1.3
The naturally aspirated 1.3 exists in three versions. First came the G13BB, at 80 hp and 104 Nm, from October 1998 to December 2000. The M13A followed with 80 hp and 110 Nm, built from January 2001 to May 2005, and from June 2005 the M13A VVT took over with 85 to 86 hp. In Britain the 1.3 VVT is rated at 85 hp, a figure you will find in the table.
A rear-wheel-drive version, five-speed manual only, was offered just from 1998 to 2000. The catalogue gives the 1.3 at 80 hp and the 1.3 at 85 hp separate rows, and both take the GAN GA+.
Body codes and names
Generation three spans the JB33, JB43 and JB53 bodies; generation four is the JB74. The Jimny IV has a single engine, the K15B, with ALLGRIP PRO four-wheel drive, three doors, and a choice of five-speed manual or four-speed automatic. British listings call the 1998–2018 car the Mk3 and the 2018–2020 car the Mk4, with SZ4 and SZ5 ALLGRIP as the Mk4 trims.
In Japan the wider versions with 1.3 or 1.5 litres are called Jimny Sierra, to set them apart from the kei car. In English-speaking markets it is just the Suzuki Jimny.
Suzuki Jimny remap: common questions
Jimny 1.5 DDiS: what does the GAN GT add?
For the 86 hp version with 200 Nm the catalogue shows 112 hp and 260 Nm with the GAN GT, and the 65 hp version with 160 Nm has its own row too. These are stated figures for the engine type, not a dyno reading of your own Jimny.
Jimny 1.3 with 80, 82 or 85 hp: which GAN box fits?
As a naturally aspirated engine the 1.3 takes the GAN GA+, which is rated at up to 12% more power. Treat the 12% as a ceiling rather than the typical result, because an engine without a turbo has less to give. The catalogue has the 80 hp and 85 hp versions, so match yours by year and by the figures in your vehicle documents.
Does the tuning box have any effect on the automatic gearbox or ALLGRIP PRO?
It does not reprogram the gearbox. The four-speed automatic was available on the Jimny III and IV, and ALLGRIP PRO is simply Suzuki's name for the four-wheel drive.
Jimny remap or tuning box: what is the difference?
A flash remap rewrites the factory software. The GAN tuning box sits between the engine sensors and the ECU and adjusts their signals instead. The ECU software is never changed, so your manufacturer's warranty is preserved, and the box can be removed at any time.
Should I declare the GAN box to my insurer?
Tell them. A tuning box raises the output, and in Britain that is a declarable modification like any other performance change. Policies differ, so a quick call to your insurer before fitting is the safe route; the figures they will ask for are the stock and GAN outputs listed here.
Is a tuning module the same as a Stage 1 remap?
Not quite. Stage 1 usually means an ECU remap without replacing any parts. The tuning module also works without replacing parts, but it does not change the ECU software: it adjusts the sensor signals, comes off in about a minute, and the OFF button in the app restores the factory settings.
